You won’t want to miss this special presentation from author Leah Weiss as she talks about her award winning book, “If The Creek Don’t Rise.” Leah’s debut novel has received hundreds of 5 star post on Goodreads from book review bloggers. It has also had the distinction of being chosen by the Southern Independent Book Sellers Alliance as an Okra pick.
The story takes place in the Appalachia, fictional Baines Creek, portraying real people and real sorrows involving moonshine and murder. Leah’s talent as a writer is praised and endorsed by other award winning novelist such as Kathleen Grissom, author of “The Kitchen House” and “Glory Over Everything.” If you love to read or listen to others tell stories than join us for an hour of refreshing entertainment.
